OUR CLIENT MISSION STATEMENT

COPPIR is an organization dedicated to the research, investigation, discovery and documentation of all things paranormal. On our site you can find information about hiring us to investigate paranormal activity, find information on all things paranormal, including photos, as well as a forum where you can connect with other paranormal enthusiasts.. Feel free to email us with any questions, we are here to help!

COPPIR was started in an effort to have an outlet for people with an interest in the paranormal. Our goal is to assist those wishing to find answers and information regarding paranormal occurrences, to research, investigate and document all types of paranormal occurrences, and most of all to give people a safe place to come and learn and discuss paranormal topics. We at COPPIR feel that paranormal groups should band together and share information... the more the public is made aware and knowledge is shared about the paranormal, the better it is for everyone.

Coppir is currently "headquartered" in the Dallas/Fort Worth area of Texas with some co-parts located in Northern Virginia. While our group is physically located in Texas and , we are available to travel to other locations, and would ultimately like our "family members" to include anyone, anywhere, after all the paranormal knows no boundaries! The co-organizers/founders of COPPIR are Dawn Marshall & Christy Martin and we look forward to growing the COPPIR team, creating a close-knit paranormal community.

DAWN MARSHALL -Founder

I have had an interest in the paranormal my entire life, beginning with me seeing spirits as a young child. Being raised Southern Baptist, I couldn't openly talk about it and so it became a part of my daily life that I just dealt with, alone. As I reached my teenage years, my interest for the paranormal and spirit world grew stronger and I began reading about paranormal topics and visiting old locations and cemeteries. I learned that I could utilize my ability to see and talk to spirits in paranormal investigation and that made my passion for this field to grow even more. I joined some paranormal groups, did some investigations, but found that the groups didn't quite match up with the way I envisioned paranormal investigation - a meld between the paranormal and spiritual. While I can see spirits, I am still skeptical - it's not always paranormal, sometimes there's another explanation. I do believe that blending scientific and spiritual methods can enhance investigations and lead to more evidence and more closure for the clients and when the situation calls for it, we utilize this strategy. So, I decided to start my own group and build a strong team of professional, experienced, dedicated invdividuals... and COPPIR was born.

I am very passionate about what I do, about the spirit world and all things paranormal, and especially helping anyone interested in the paranormal, as well as helping the spirits that are "stuck" here, cross over to the other side and find peace. This is what I feel I am meant to do, and I love every minute of it!!!

I have taken many courses in paranormal and spiritual studies, have an extensive book collection on a wide-variety of topics and am currently studying to receive a degree in metaphysical parapsychology. I am also currently furthering my study in demonology and the occult as I feel it is wise to have a wide knowledge base!

CHRISTY MARTIN - Co-Founder

Christy has had an interest in the paranormal her entire life, researching and reading everything she could get her hands on and venturing out into historical places since she can remember. Christy has had many personal experiences with the paranormal along with her direct involvement with groups. Christy has extensive knowledge in a wide-variety of paranormal subjects including demonology and the occult along with scientific approaches and is currently working on setting up several scientific case studies.

For many people, the experience of dealing with paranormal activity can be a frightening and oftentimes confusing period in their lives.  They need understanding, support and someone to help guide them through the process of finding out exactly what it is that is going on in their home or business.  That is why COPPIR is here to help.

In many instances, the phenomenon goes unreported out of fear of being ridiculed, or the simple fact that they aren’t quite sure what exactly is going on and therefore are unsure of who to turn to for help.  The team members of COPPIR have passion and many years experience in the paranormal field and we understand how difficult it can be to deal with this type of situation on your own. Our two main objectives are to assist the client in ALL ways, from beginning to end which includes assessment, education, guidance and most importantly closure and clearing of the paranormal occurrences so that you can move on with your life.
 
We at COPPIR take each and every case seriously and professionally and will always offer a personal level of service and support to each and every one of our clients. We take pride in our promptness and understand the seriousness of each and every situation. And our support does not end once the investigation and follow-up are complete, we are always available for questions and assistance! And we NEVER charge for an investigation!

 
Education is the Key
 
A major part of what we do and why we are successful is education. Many of the situations that people encounter are scary because they don’t have all the information that they need. There is a saying that “knowing is half the battle” and we truly believe that. Once a situation can be defined and understood, a big chunk of the work is done. When you can understand and know by definition what is occurring, it is then less scary because it is no longer “the unknown”. We have many years of combined experience in paranormal occurrences, and part of our goal is to pass on helpful information to our clients. This is a team effort, and you the client is part of the team while we are conducting the investigation. Without you, key ingredients to solving the puzzle would be missing. We aim to bring understanding which assists in bringing about peace of mind.

It is our goal to conduct a full investigation, collect evidence, and help educate our clients on what exactly it seems to be that they are dealing with.  Sometimes that means teaching them about the theories and related case studies involved with that particular brand of the paranormal, and other times it means finding rational explanations to what they are experiencing. While we do have several sensitives on our team, we do approach each case with a scientific mindset. We have found that sometimes there are explanations for occurrences that have nothing to do with the paranormal world, such as electro-magnetic interference or old plumbing .  It is as much our job to capture evidence of the paranormal as it is to rule it out. 

Perhaps nothing can be more satisfying to a client fearful that their home is overrun by ghosts to learn that the knocking sounds they hear, for instance, are simply the wood in the furniture and flooring reacting to the change in temperature.  And as long as our clients feel safe and secure about living comfortably in their own home, we have done our job.  Your case will always remain open until you are completely satisfied.

 
Assistance Beyond Our Physical Investigation

The job of COPPIR does not stop when we leave your residence after our investigation.  Far too many teams in far too many places seem to feel this level of involvement is all that is required.  Not us. Once our investigation of your residence or place of business is completed, our work is just beginning.  After we review our evidence and have made a determination on what it is we are dealing with, we put in the legwork necessary to track down the information on how we can best help you to move forward. 

For instance, we may be able to show that the activity you are experiencing is explained by rational means and not paranormal ones.  If this is the case, we will fully explain how and why we came to that conclusion and be fully assured that you understand.  However, if we do indeed seem to find a level of paranormal activity present, we will research the history of your home, land, etc. to find out why and perhaps even by whom the activity is being caused. We may also bring in some of our sensitives (those that communicate with the spirit world) and see if they can shed any light on the situation.  All evidence, paperwork, and conclusions will be given to you in a fully detailed report. If paranormal activity is thought to be occurring in your home, we have years of experiencing in clearing out any entities and will always do so upon completion of the investigation and findings. There are many groups who will come out, tell you that there is in-fact paranormal activity in your home and then leave. We are not one of those groups! You called us to regain peace of mind and we are dedicated to helping you reclaim that, which means clearing your home of said paranormal entities/activity.

COPPIR guarantees that we will work with our clients from point of contact through conclusion of their case, no if's, and's or but's; ensuring always that they are kept informed and up-to-date on all matters related to their particular situation.  We have several case managers, and each client is assigned a particular case manager whom you will be your point of contact throughout the entire process. You will also have the contact numbers for several other group members including Dawn Marshall, the founder so that you can always reach someone when you need to. Never will our clients feel left out, ignored, or that they do not count.  Our goal is for each and every client we work with to walk away feeling satisfied.  And we will do it all completely free of charge.

If for any reason at all we do not meet this expectation, please give us a chance to make it right.  If we cannot, or if at any time you choose to move in a different direction, we will step aside graciously and thank you for the opportunity to assist you.
